I need to show ads on my website. But, it is a non-habitual website and the ads showed for adsense recognize incorrect keywords. I need to find alternatives to google adsense that allows me to specify keywords manually and then displays ads based on that.

Any thoughts?

Yes, this can happen with Google AdSense and you’re right that irrelevant ads are likely to be ignored by public you visit your website.

You could sign up with a large ad network like AdBrite (http://www.adbrite.com), which allows you to manually approve/disapprove the banner ads that are shown on your site.

Or, you could sign up with an ad network that’s specific to your type of website. There are literally hundreds of ad networks out there that focus on niches like autos, education, blogs, etc. To get thoughts, you can check out the 20 options at http://www.adcherry.com/make/place_ad.php
