The building committee met Thursday to review bids on furnishing the new detention facility. Inventor Erik Jorgensen read the submissions made by three businesses — Design Supply Inc., Inner Plot Office Interiors and Arkansas Shade, Shutter and Blind Co.
Litchfield County courthouse plans moving ahead, with bids sought for Torrington site
TORRINGTON — Plans for a new courthouse for the Litchfield Judicial District, to be built in Torrington, took another step forward after the state Department of public works posted a see soliciting potential bidders.
