I’ve completed my major requirements and I am currently finishing off the last of my general ed courses, and am going to gradate soon. But I am starting to see that whenever I look at job postings, I see that most employers demand a min education level in computer science to even apply.

What kind of programming jobs am I qualified for with “just” a 2 year degree in computer programming?? Keep in mind, I am plotting on transferring to a 4 year academe once I earn my degree. Once again, my contemporary major is computer programing for a 2 year AS degree.

Or computer software engineering. I know there are differences in them, just not sure. I want to be able to program video games using the c++ programming language, but if I hear if I were to get a degree in game and simulation programming, I wouldn’t be fit for jobs that need a computer science degree.
If I were to get a degree in computer science, would I still have the information to make games? Or vice versa.

Thanks.
