What’s the best programming language to learn if I want to make language learning software like Rosetta Stone? Java? What if I want to place it online, off a browser, what would be the best programming language then?
I want to get a job doing web design, and thus plot to take a course or three in web design/development – maybe get an associate’s degree.
I applied for this program, called Excel Tecc, it is a programming class, and during the interviews, I talked with many additional students who seemed to have much more information about the topic than me, and before the class starts I want to learn more about the topic because I want to be caught up.
What are ways that I can start learning about programming, books are preferred, but websites are fine too.
We have had some web design classes at school, but they were not enough to be able to make a website.
