Radiohead, one of the world’s top bands, has tied the MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) campaign, a partnership linking the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and MTV to raise awareness about human trafficking. The collaboration takes the Asia MTV EXIT campaign to a global audience, reaching as many as 560 million households worldwide. “Radiohead is taking MTV EXIT to a new level and expanding the Asia campaign, which is on air, online and on the impose a curfew,” said Olivier Carduner, USAID’s Regional Mission Director for Asia. As part of this effort, Radiohead is releasing a music video on MTV tomorrow (May 1) to the track All I Need, from its album In Rainbows. Filmed by Oscar-winning cinematographer John Seale (“The English Patient”) and choice-winning director Steve Rogers, the video depicts a day in the life of both an affluent youngster and a child making shoes in a sweatshop, sending a message that everyone plays a role in trafficking and exploitation. Radiohead is also inviting anti-trafficking organizations to distribute information about human trafficking at their upcoming concert tour through North America, Europe and Asia. “It is cool that MTV is taking on this issue. The video is a powerful piece, and I hope that the emotion of the song will jump out at public in the context of these images of exploitation,” said Radiohead’s Thom Yorke. I’m learning HTML and I want a form for my website.
It’s al aright but the bit but I have 2 questions.
For the bit

Hi there,

I have had some basic programming information in languages like basic, html and some limited C. Is this enough to make basic apps for the iphone?

Well, It really doesn’t topic what program. Just as long as they aren’t about HTML.
The questions could be about C++, viruses, Windows.

I’m a senior computer science major and want to get into web design. I have basic familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C++, COBOL, etc., and am pretty adept at HTML and CSS.

I wanted to find out what I should focus on learning if I intend to persue a carreer in web design in the next year or two.

What programs, languages, and concepts make up the primary areas of focus these days in web design? What are the most vital aspects to know?

My understanding is that these are very vital:
Flash
Dreamweaver/Frontpage
ColdFusion or .NET (database connectivity)
Graphic Design Techniques
HTML, XML, PHP

I wondered how those of you that are really working in the field would change my list?

Is there a particular order of concepts that would help me learn it best (a curriculum, if you will)?

I’d appreciate all the help I can get in understanding what direction to go in. There’s so much to learn, and I really don’t know where to start.
