An acquaintance wants to hire me for a web design job. They by now have a website, but the original webmaster is no longer available. They’d like me to make some edits and then be available for occasional updates. How do I go about charging for this, since the work will be done piecemeal, as needed? Charging hourly seems silly, since any updates I make won’t likely take more than a fraction of an hour.
